ABS, TC and Service lights all on?
Friday, February 04, 2011 10:01 PM
Please excuse my lacking knowledge of vehicle maintenance... For the past few weeks every once in a while the ABS, no Traction Control and Service lights come on my dash while driving. I own a 2002 Cavalier VLX and was hoping somebody on this board would know more about what it could mean. I have been searching google and have come up with a few answers that point to it being a faulty sensor, low brake fluid or a damaged bearing. I just recently had the brakes completely done at Midas, and I don't know if I should take it back there for them to take a look. I don't want to get caught with a bunch of fees if I can avoid it. Oh, BTW, the car drives fine, it's just the dash lights. Thanks so much for any insight you can provide me.

Thanks, I actually found out it was/is most likely a sensor misread and to unhook and reconnect the battery. Since then it has not reappeared. Hopefully it stays that way.
