I have a 1998 cav z24 vert, and it has an auto trans. Now I found a guy who has a 1999 z24 bad motor, but new 5 speed. it also has rksport dual exhaust, polished and ported intake and throttle body, cold air intake, ram air fiberglass hood, and some other cool things for $750.00! Problem is that he is half way across the state of wisconsin. I am thinking of putting the manual in my car. How much is involved? Would I have to change out the ecm? wiring harness? WHAT WOULD HAPPEN TO MY TRACTION CONTROL? I am really pondering getting this car, and would like a bit o knowledge before I dive into this project. I was going to get the car resprayed next week, but was thinking of putting that on hold to do this project. so tell me fellas or ladies, what do you think I should do? The tranny this guy has is only got like 10 k on it, also new clutch...

about 8 hours of work if you know what you are doing for auto to manual swap, i say tell him 500 cash for it all
