i had a dash fire caused by the cig lighter jamming and so i changed the whole dash harness/including the inside fuze panel and all my car is a 97 z24 donor harness was out of a 98. everything works but the speedometer and odmeter I changed out the cluster did the theft relearn no dice, I also changed the vss any input? thanks guys
Didnt they go to Digital odometers in 98?
Could that be causing it?
I might be remembering wrong though.
i donno as far as i can remember it was a regular odemeter i changed it about 4 months ago everything pluged in, I would think the plugs would be different
well if its the right part either the cluster, sending unit, or wiring is bad somewhere.
where is the sending unit? located ive changed the cluster and the vss aswell
VSS = sending unit for speedo soo you did that already i ques

lol the vss is the sending unit for the speedo.
sending unit = sensor that controls something.
You already replaced it.
So I have no clue to be honest other then maybe its not a compatible cluster for some reason.
