My sister's 02 cavalier is having a weird electrical issue. Her headlights will randomly go out when her wipers are on. The wipers will stop in the middle of the windshield, and I can hear a faint buzzing sound in the middle of the dash.

There's no rhyme or reason for it going out or coming back on. I thought it could be whenever you hit a bump but I don't think that causes it.

Any ideas?? I havent gotten the time to take off the top of the dash to see what exactly is buzzing. It seems to be close to the center windshield vent.

Dunno why I bother asking anymore.

For people who have this similar problem, we found that the wiper motor had a bad ground wire. Still no idea how that would have caused the headlights to go out too, but whatever. It works.
