will putting a short ram intake on y 04 cavalier throw a code? if so what can i do to make sure it doesn't come back?
By short ram do you mean pipe and a filter that you mount to the throttle body or some form of manifold?
If its the former you will be fine, you can run the car with an open throttlebody and not have any problems or codes other then dirt getting into the engine obviously
Aftermarket manifolds usually don't throw codes either as long as you do it right, and thats mainly just vacuum hoses.
