Hello every one, a little story i went to change my thermostat on my 2001 cavi 2200 and when i took the radiator hose off the thermostat housing i noticed the housing is breaking around the edge. i went online to find nothing went to the local parts store and nothing, went to the local u pull it and no 2200 engines (lots of the 2.4 z cavi and gt sunfire) If any one has one siting around or knows of where to get one it would be much help. Thanks for any help

RockAuto.com has both upper and lower hoses listed for your car.. Just go to their site and load their catalog... go to chevrolet.. 2001.. cavalier.. select your engine.. coolant system.. scroll down.. Upper/lower radiator hoses.

And he also said he is doing the thermostat, not the radiator hoses...
I have a complete housing with the black steel flange that bolts to it for the radiator hose attachment you can have for ten bucks +shipping.

for ten bucks shipped sounds good i was just gonna end up making my own and welding a new inlet to the flange. Can you send me any pics so i can see it? Thanks man

No pics, I do take paypal... Its basically a run of the mill stock part, nothing special about it.

trying to find out the location for the thermostat for a 2001 chevy cavalier
On the 2200 it is right near the water pump where the lower radiator hose attaches any auto parts store will have it .
