i need help with this my 1996 z24 check engine light is coming on and when i put the scanner the code that comes out read torque converter circuit stuck on i'm new to the cavi's i would like to get help in this matter from one of u in the forum that has expertise in this problem or anyone that has the same problem in the past i will appreciate your time and concern in this matter in advance thanx from jose 1973.

Jose,

Most commonly, the trouble code you received is usually accurate, and is a failure of the Torque converter clutch in your transmission. You'll often need to replace it all together. Does the car drop in RPM or stall when coming to a stop? Have you noticed poor fuel mileage?

The PCM sets this code when it does not see a change in RPM after it commands the TCC off. If your not having any drivability issues, i would just erase the code and see if it comes back. Consider changing your AT fluid.
