Blower motor plugs don't match,

I need help. Bought a replacement blower motor for a 2004 cav from autozone, but the plugs don't match. I double checked the numbers and according to the website I have the right motor. Went to pepboys website and the part numbers are the same so I have a real problem. Short of cutting this plug off and splicing the motor in (I really don't want to do this) what do I do? Why don't they match?

Sometimes they come with a short conversion harness, if not, then it's cutting it off and splicing.

Sold many of these in my day, j-bodies should be plug and play, however some you do have to cut, grand prix etc.....

Well 3 stores all had same wrong blower. I had to order it through Chevrolet for $80. I could have spliced it but it bothers me to put something in that really isn't right
