So about 2000km into my last oil change I decide to check all my fluids.....power steering ok, brake fluid also good, Coolant almost empty...wtf? Got some dex cool, 50/50 and topped it up.
Engine oil....almost non existent. just under the first indicator notch.
I have a 1997 2.4l, change the oil at 4500-5000km religiously, runs smooth, doesn't blow smoke, no visible leaks in the bay or on the ground. EVAP code came up about 1 month ago.
So I topped up the oil with some GTX high millage and ive been checking the oil over the past 2 weeks. No drop in oil.
I am pretty confused.
any thoughts?

Perhaps you have a leak from your oil pressure sensor. Maybe when the car is running you drive hard and the pressure goes up forcing more oil through the leak. When you drive 'easy' less pressure results in less leaking. When the car is off there is no pressure and no leak thus no puddle. Perhaps your oil level was fine after the refill because you drove less, drove easier, and or you simply checked it too soon and given more time enough would have leaked out to be noticeable. Just a guess,
my sisters 2002 z24 was doing the same thing. we tried changing the oils and it kept going threw it. no leaking no blew smoke from the tail pipe. it was burning it internally then we found out why. She has a bad motor it finally blew the bottom end. i hope you have better luck.
