When driving my 1998 Pontiac Sunfire Convertible, it surges (the RPM spikes) at times during acceleration. Mileage is low at a little more than 61,000. Could someone offer some insight as to why this might be?
Could be a number of things. Has your vehicle had a recent tune up spark plugs / wires / coil packs / fuel filter?.
