What's up guys. I've got a 2002 cavy manual with the ecotec. I am replacing the timing chain tensioner on it and was wondering if the new tensioner should be lubricated with oil before installing it. Or just put it in right out of the box? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
i dropped mine in a cup of oil and filled it up before installing it in my car, Not sure if you are or not i just did.
