So my car is doing the opposite off every other fan question in the forum . It comes on around 192 and stays on till you turn the car off. The temp gauge drops then raises then drops. fan never turn off , relay gets hot , properly a stupid question , relay gets warm. something inline between temp harness and fan is causing this relay to heat up , is changing the relay gonna help this ./ or am i getting my test light out and temp gun thanks

2000 cav? A/C or no A?C

any signs of changes to the factory wiring for the fan control ? The ecm controls fan operation and it should only be on at 223 'F.

If you pull the relay does the fan shut off...wondering if there is a short to power feeding the relay control circuit maybe even internally from the fuse box.

being a mechanic...can you view live data in the ecm and see if the fan control request is on or off from the ecm?

2000 z24 ac , some wiriing grabbed my attention between the start and rad fan ,. pulling the relay turns off the fan , i beleive one of the former owners had to re ran wiring for a lower temp setting to combat with overhearting issue . ill grab my scanner later and see if i can find fan control .
