Someone sold me a 2.0 computer cause they claimed it was a 2.2. its in my car and will only run if i pour gas in the throttle body. I have spark and fuel pressure. and the injectors are firing in order. But i will not run on its own. Not even a chance. But like i said the engine screams of i feed it fuel. So is the 2.0 computer causing this? Or is it something else? O ya its a race car dont have any dash so dont care about if it will cause a check light. please help thanks kevin

What 2.0 computer? What car? Only 80s J-bodies came with a 2.0L engine and Cobalts(2.0L boosted) is a completely different system that wont work.

My 94 came with a SOHC 2.0L

Sorry and thank you for moving it. The car is a 96 cavalier 5speed. My motor is a 98+ 2200. I already switch to the older 2 wire ckp and it fit perfect. I wired the injectors in all same color wires. And was gonna run the 96 style computer. Then after i bought the computer he informed me it was for a 2.0 cavalier. Not a 96 2.2 5speed computer like he told me. So you guys think if i get the computer for a 96 or 98+ with harness it would fix my problem. thanks for your time kevin
