Well I was installing my strut bar and I moved the ecm into the cabin. I have thrown a p0203 every now and then on random occurrences. I think it may be the cause of my random rich code. Now it seems like cylinder 3 is misfiring like a bitch and I am getting this p0203 code. I'm almost positive it's a bad wire some where in the harness as I was moving it around today while moving the ecm through the firewall grommet. I'm going to start by checking the voltage at the end of the wires injector side key on, but I would like to test from the ecm side of the connector as its easier to access (The injector wires are REALLY hard to get to with the m62 kit on!)
The ecm pins and harness connector itself looks OK. Can I test the wire for resistance on the ecm side by completing the circuit somehow? I know its driver ground for injector 3 is pin 72 on the black connector. Would I just put my volt meter on ohms and one end on pin 72 of the wire harness and the other on end of the wire (injector side?) or is there another way as I would need a pretty long mult-meter to do so?
Ecm was bad replacing with old one and getting re-flashed tomorrow for $100.
ECM replaced driver looks good. Running really rich on the stock tune though! haha
