i have a 97 that every time i mess with the headlight,wiperswitch the dash lights come on or when i put the shifter out of park any ideas what would be wrong would be appreciated

I think someone may have spliced your dash lights bro. Is it causing a draw from the motor? Does it come on with your ac as well? If so see if its spliced into your acc.power fuse. A multimeter is going to be your friend if you want it fixed. OH bro, you totally made me want to toggle my interior and cover the original. Op, sorry not supposed to do that in someone elses thread.
