Hey Guys,
Background: Got the car tuned in Oct and drove it to the garage. Came back in Dec to start her up, battery dead. Jumped it and it started it. Realized batter was bad, replaced it with new one. Came back in Jan to start her and battery dead (ok never drove the car with new battery). Used a wall outlet charger for the battery with similar specs:
140A Cranking Assist
55A Boost Charge
20A Rapid Charge
2A Slow Charge
Tried to crank assist I think, can only start the car a few times in 10 mins otherwise it will screw things up. I was late, tried it. Heard a loud pop!
Issue: Checked all relays and fuses, I have ignition(spark), fuel pressure, fuel etc. Nothing is wrong. However:
1. The odometer reads: ERROR when cranking
2. The radio reads LOCKED
3. The anti-theft system blinks when the car is cranked.
GM Theft Deterrent System? Passlock? I don't think my BCM is bad or my PCM but its possible I could have fried those two things and nothing else.

sounds like you need to do the relearn.
Does the car start then die or just turn over?
Explain the relearn to me austin?
She just cranks, but doesn't turn over. However, when i have added starter fluid into the tb when diagnosing previously, she would stay running as long as that was being squirted in. When i say running, not exactly running well, just barely.

Looks like Steve D beat me to it. I usually roll the window down and turn the key from outside the car that way you don't have
to sit inside the car the entire time, feels like an hour, and wait for the theft light to go off.
