Hi everyone. I'm rebuilding my '97 z24 and I thought I was careful enough to have each part organized for reassembly but this one part has me totally stumped. I believe it came from the balance shaft housing area but I cannot remember exactly. It kind of looks like the "thrust plate" that goes onto the one side of the balance shaft housing. I have the Haynes, Chiltons, and Factory manuals but I cannot find any reference to this part whatsoever. It's probably something real simple that I'm overlooking but I would greatly appreciate someone to please refresh my memory. Thanks.
