I own a 97 Chevy Cavaleir Z24 with a 96 Chevy Cavaleir automatic transmission. The previous transmission was going out so I decided to go get another one from the junkyard. This transmission did not have alot of miles on it and had the normal amount of metal in a transmission (barely anything). When I installed it it worked perfectly and didn't buzz like the previous one. There is one problem, it shifts from 1st to 2nd just fine, but when it tries to go to 3rd, it just goes straight to 4th. It is worth noting that I replaced all the soilinoids in the transmission and that the tourqe converter does slip when under stress. (I plan to replace the torque converter in the future).
