I just bought a 1996 pontiac sunfire with the 5 speed manual!
I am wondering how to check and change the transmission and transaxle fluid? Also what kind does it take?

Assuming u have a 2.2.l, If ur standing at the front of ur car look towards the right close to the firewall look down beneath the brake stuff ull see a plug. That's where u fill. To empty, there's a drain plug underneath
