I broke my LSJ dipstick tube while trying to remove it, I can’t find them online or if I do the shipping cost 3 times the price of the part. I’m wondering if anyone knows where I could find a universal dipstick that could be made to work in a ecotec.

I should add that this motor is no longer going into a J-body so the shape or length of the tube shouldn’t have to be critical.

You can probably get one at a junk yard.

The odds of finding a decent one in eastern canada is pretty slim. I managed to pull out a dipstick from an old sunfire motor I had without mangling it too much and just splice the end on the LSJ one for now.
