Not exactly sure how to explain this but in my 02 cav, the is no seperation of where the air blows out from when the fan (a/c, just fan, or heat) is turned on. What I mean is that if the fan is turned on to any setting 1-4, air will blow out from the dash vents and the floor all the time no matter if u got it set on circulate, just dash, both dash and floor, just floor, floor and defrost, or just defrost......i dont know why but it kindof pisses me off not to be able to set it to just floor or dash........is this normal or how can i fix it?

by the way i did search and i found some post about it but not any that really answered my question.....if there is one that answered my ? than i must have looked over it

check the vacum lines, either one of them came loose in the interior (behind the dash) or somewhere in the engine
