I got outside, start it up so it can get somewhat warm (28 degrees out!), and then go inside to change before working this morning, 4am mind you
. I go out 15 minutes later, the airbag light is on! WTF?!? I'm slightly irritated because last thing I need is another light on my christmas tree of a cluster.
I turn off the car, restart it, and now it's gone, and I haven't seen it again.
I think it's telling me something
.
mine did that once. on....then off. i think everything cool?.?
Well between my CEL and ABS light, it did make a nice addition
....
i think if you leave the car in park for a few minutes the airbag does a self-check, i think the light just lets you know that

Man my ABS/Service engine lights come on everytime it friggin snows or rains. Never on a clear day.
@!#$! i got all of ya beat, i got my abs/ e-brake/ air bag/ "check gauges" and stupid "buckle your seat belt idiot" light on constant..... i just gave up... so long as the CEL stays off, i am happy
I had that happen, while driving, i was hoping it didnt go off in my face
Parked er, restarted and she was good to go

This has also happened to me before as well. I just did the same as Raskal. Turned the car off and restarted and the light went off. I think it was just having a bad or something. I wouldn't worry about it much.

A minor fluke more than myself has thankfully experienced
.
My guess would be, condensation, causing a temporary short somewhere, which would explain the problem fixing itself.
