As the title says, I have P0335 on my 96 Z24. It's a long story, but I just got a new ignition module about a month ago and then last week or so, the CEL came on. I wasn't about to go back where I had it fixed before, so we replaced the crank sensor since it's a relatively easy fix and not too expensive. But the light came back on after clearing the code. I'm sure it's some broken wire somewhere, but does anyone have any suggestions? If it's an expensive fix (like fixing the reluctor ring on the crank) then it's just going to have to live with it because I'm buying a new car in a month, but if it's easy, then I would like to fix it. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks!
Jessika
Oops, forgot to add that I have no noticeble symptoms. Before we replaced the crank sensor, I had a harder time starting it, but that was only once. No hesitation, no miss that I can tell, so I'm just stumped. We did as much of the trouble tree as we could (I have the GM Service Manuals) without a Tech II, so I'm stumped.

Use a DRB, and look at the CPS data stream .Examine the data flow back to your PCM. Usually a "Circiut" error means the wiring harness adaptor is bad and needs to be rethreaded.
That makes sense... At first the problem was intermittent for about a day, now it's constant. I'll check that out. Thanks!
