types of fuel filters question

Hey, I need to replace my fuel filter but I am wondering is there like a "high" flow filter kinda like the same as a high flow cat. I do not run NOS, and I am not boosted, but I am just wondering if such a thing exists? And what one would you recommend?

P.S. I want to do this because I am going to buy a fuel pressure regulator and and fuel pressure riser, as I do plan to put NOS in my car this spring.

Thanx

not that i know of.

And i wouldnt be putting any high flow filter on my fuel system. The filter is there to clean your fuel lines. If they made such a filter, I would suggest against it because it would be called "high flow" for a reason.

Same with high flow cats it wouldnt filter out everything. Leaving dirt and whatnot to travel into your fuel rail where it would clog your injectors.

But I doubt they make such a thing anyway. and if they did... I would reccomend not to buy one.

If you want to help your fuel system out to handle the heavy loads and whatnot get a more powerful pump and bigger injectors. It doesnt matter how much pressure you have, if you cant pump enough fuel and spray it all, your car will fall flat on its face.

Hope this helps, dont get me wrong, I'm not trying to flame you, just giving a detailed enough answer so as to not raise any questions.

Hey, thank you very much, that helped a lot.
P.S. And ya u raised a good point, that more crap would then get through to clog the injectors, if there was a such thing as a high flow filter. Thank you.

earls plumming makes fitters that flow 4-5 gallons per minute, however they are used as "pre filters" meaning there is more than one filter in the system.
