My driver side window in my 02 Cavalier LS Sport seems to be stuck up. It makes the same sound when i press to move it up (even though it is already up) as does the fully functioning passenger window, which means the motor isn't completely dead. When I press to make the window go down however, there is no response at all. Has anyone had this happen or know of things I should check before I bring it in? Any help would be greatly appreciated and save me some cash hopefully.

yeah i something similar to that problem. except my window was down and wouldn't go up on the drivers side. so then i played around with the power window wires and somehow it was working again. my guess is it's a lose connection.

Where was the loose connection that you found?
