high idle revs?

if anyone has initial thoughts, i'd appreciate. i can't shed too much light on it though...

engine's revving at 1300rpm consistently. it's normally about 800. it's a 2002 2.4 with 175,000km on it.

that's it for the symptons! delco plugs are only about 15,000km old.

hmmmm....
ok, how about if i add in that it seems to rev even higher when i start it up. closer to 2000rpm for a few seconds then drops.
help?

check your vaccum lines... it could be you have a small leak of some sort.

yeah....check for a vacuum leak....check the vacuum line from the manifold to the map sensor......ive seen a couple of those start to dry and crack
