simple as that, I have a 2200 and i opened the tb to see how dirty everything was and i could see some liquid and could smell gas so i assume its gas this normal for it to pool in the bottom of the manifold?

You may have a leaking injector.

ill bet thats it cuz my gas miles suck! so what can i do to find out? and what one it could be?

Heres one way, relieve the fule pressure, remove the fuel rail and injectors then reconnect the fuel line, turn the ignition on DO NOT start just igniton on and look for gas. Check where they go into the fuel rail and along the side of the injector.

No you have to remove the gas line from the rail to remove the rail. Then re connect the line to the rail after you have removed the rail and injectors. Then turn on the ignition and look for the leaky injector. Yes keep the injectors in the rail, when you turn the ignition on the fuel pump in on and there is pressure in the fuel system, if there is an injector leaking you will see it due to the pressurized system. I would get a fuel pressure gauge and check it first if you are not completely sure that its an injector, but Id pretty well say for sure thats what it is.

Not at all, I've seen aftermarket injectors going for $50-$100 each. (Some probably cost more & less too)

Worst case scenario, if he did need 4, that's $400 +/-

The only time it might be worth selling a car is when the work costs more than the car is worth....

But a car's worth is a relative number.
