I have a 1997 Pontaic Sunfire GT.. 2.4L 5speed, I am having a problem with the shifter linkage.. as in I have to duct tape it onto the transmission!
Its a pressure fit cup and ball joint... and well it wont stay on the transmission anymore.. just wondered a few things
1. Can just the end of the shifter linkage be replaced... as it looks like it comes apart... or do I need to buy the whole cable
2. If it needs the whole cable does anyone know how its replaced as my manual is so vague it makes it more confusing than before I read it.
