I'm wondering, my friends are in a bind, they've got a 95 2.3L that they're rebuilding, and they broke off a few studs off the timing chain housing

here's a picture of what i'm refering to


now, can sombody interchange the housing from 95 2.3L to the 96+ vin T 2.4L? or are they SOL and have to find a 95 housing?

87-95 cover will fit. If they can't find a 2.3 at the scrap yard, they didn't search hard enough.

slick, thanks alot, a 01 z24 one definitly wont work, we found that out lol

thank god the 87-95 will work, kuz we can track down a single 95 2.3L here

any 2.3L will work? does it matter if its an older LO/HO, as long as its a DOHC? from 87-95

sorry, 89-95 2.3 DOCH should work. Before that they had the first desing housing if I remember correctly.
