hey guys, im coming down to california in august.........coming from toronto ontario....... and I was wondering if you guys had any good ideas or things Id like to either see or do while im down there....... So far I think im driving, but If I do fly I will be landing in Los Angeles and staying in santa monica, in marina del ray some hotel aroudn there near the water......... I know its such a broad question but can you give me some places I might like to go to??? Im planning on going surfing a few days, maybe the universal studios, or disneyland........... maybe the hollywood celebrity tour, what else???
There's no shortage of things to do out here. The list is literally endless. I'd start looking at chamber of commerce websites. There's fishing, anything water related, musems, studios, 6 flags magic mountain, san diego zoo, la zoo.....
How long are you staying? How will get around if you fly?
And don't go to Hollywood. It's freakin trash.

Things I've done (with Karo) since I have visited there....
Gone to the Saddle Ranch in Universal Studios and to Sharkys in Huntington Beach for a night of excessive drinking
Gone to Santa Monica, spend the afternoon walking on the beach/pier, had lunch, and went shopping.
Gone to the Laugh Factory on Sunset Blvd. in Hollywood a few times to watch a comedy show.
Went to Santa Barbara and Malibu for the beach and dinner (different occations).
Gone to Disneyland.
Went to the San Manuel casino and will be going to the Morongo casino next week.
Went to Pink's and got a hot dog in Hollywood.
Drove to Las Vegas twice since its not a far drive, you can guess what we did there.
And have done everyday things with his friends, like going to the movies, dinner, hookah cafe, bars, etc.

Id be just coming down with my girlfriend Lina to check it out....... I live on the beach here in toronto area, always been a beach person, and ive been wanting to go to california for a while...... went to all inclusive resort last year, so i think this year im due for Cali....... ahha everyone around here says I belong in cali, apparently cause i look like a surfer, so maybe its meant to be! lol jokes
