I just talked to SCO and they have cancelled Saturday's event due to the major possibility of rain... a new date has not yet been worked out with Firebird

for you maybe. it's really not that much farther of a drive for me or eric. it's about 30-35 mins to firebird... 40-45 to speedworld for me.

) it would be a lot better than trying to fight the long lines at the fri night drags at firebird... on thursdays the car count is pretty low so you can get just about as many runs as you want.

i didnt know they had a thursday
yup. it used to be every wed. but they changed it to every thursday a few months ago
it's just open street drags. i don't think you can run slicks.
the car count is always pretty low. you can almost make a pass and by the time you get back you'll almost be up again... you may have like 3 or 4 cars in front of you.
it's $20 to run. $15 if you have a student ID (like me
)

$20 isn't that bad. you paid $17 at firebird... and had to wait in hour long lines

actually I paid $15 at firebird... the increased the prices after I stopped racing.
I think i went once or twice since the increase.
so firebird is moved to this saturday?
