Well there are alot of variables that come into it. What company you get it from? What brand you get? Do you want it custom made? Those are the things that count as far as pricing.
I'll try and give you a generalization...
Cat-back systems could cost anywhere from $250-600 depending on brand.
High Flow Catalytic Converters usually cost around $100-140
Headers usually go from $270-400
What you should do is do more research and find prices on your own from different places...some places might have product at one price and another place might have the same product for a different price...just use common sense and be a smart shopper.
Another big part of shopping is finding on what other consumers thought of that product...that's why we have the JBO, if you find a product that you like and you want to know what other people think of it, just ask and you'll get some type of answer. Before you ask, please search because more than likely it's been talked about a million times over.
If you decide not to buy a cat-back system but you want get it custom made with your own chosen parts, that's fine also. Make sure you get the piping either compression or mendrel bent. If you want a nice deep sound, add a resonator.
If you need some places that sell products more geared towards j-bodies, just ask and I'll swarm you with a bunch of link LOL
If you have anymore questions, just ask.
Good luck in your research and decisions.

Well...me personally, what I have is what I like.
I have a Weapon-R header (they don't make a header for the 2.4 motor yet), Magnaflow muffler & catalytic converter (anything by Magnaflow you can't go wrong), & custom mendrel bent 2 1/2" piping (I have 2 1/2" cause I'm preparing for boost soon).
For cat-backs, check out Magnaflow's cat-back setup & Borla's cat-back setup. They both sound nice and flow well. Catalytic converter, get Magnaflow's. Header is up to you...most owners of 2.4's go for Pacesetters. Make sure you get it Ceramic Coated.
These are my recommendations if I were you but still do some shopping around.
Like I said before, if you need me to list some websites I can do that.
