I have one for a 2.4L , it touchs the hood slightly and the hole for the sensor is off by about a good 5-7 inchs(cut the harness, retape and your good) I'm also sure I can figure a way to make it not touch the hood, but it barely touchs so i haven't worried about it to much...for the price i paid, and being that there 30mins away..i couldn't complain
You must have installed the intake badly because mine fits flawlessly and the holes are all perfect...nicest looking intake as well.

No it doesn't take an amazing IQ to do this, the hole for the sensor is about 1inch from the filter ..it's waaaaay off
then I'm gonna guess you ordered the wrong intake/they sent the wrong intake.
My cosmo intake for a 2.4 fit perfect.
My brother had a Cosmo intake on his old Ranger. It fit fine---looked good too.

well the only 2 that could come simular in shape would be the 2.4L and eco(my reciept states 2.4L). The bracket that bolts up to the pump is aligned perfect..same with the pipe for the breather..just i had to stretch the sensor wire a good 4-5 inchs(I mean the sensor is hitting the abs modulater)
hey bert pogne la lintake au pire revend la si tu l'aime pas c pas si pire que ca!
Ecotec Cavalier is a tough fit, trust me.
I was gonna buy from them but they only take non credit card based pay pal accounts???
I have a Cosmo for my 2.4L as well... The only ptoblem I ran into was that the intake came with the wrong grommet for the sensor. I simply picked up a proper one and voila good to go. It does touch the hood slightly but it's almost not worth mentioning.
