as you may no its winter right now so i am not putting any performance mods to my car right now but i was wondering if anyone removed the stock muffler and what it sounded like perferbally for the 96 z24 but any will work
You mean, remove the muffler and that's it? Not replacing it with a new one? Just cut it off and you're done? REALLY bad idea. Sounds horrible as s**t and loud as Hell.
I cut off my muffler once to replace it with a better one on my 99Z24 - same as your car basically - and fired it up just to see what it sounded like with not muffler at all. It sounds awful, and the loudness is probably illegal almost anywhere you go.
Don't do that.
