Well you can do it a couple ways. You could tap the fuel rail and put the sender in there. You could cut the fuel line and put the sensor in line there. For the fuel line idea you would tap the feed line, basically you cut the line in half, get some fittings to put the sender in a T on the line, and wire the sensor back to the gauge.

I know the FUM replaces most of the feed line with a blue hose. Should i cut inbetween the fuel rail and the FMU or behind the FMU. I would believe after the FMU because the FMU does change the fuel pressure. I am using the exact setup as the Hahn system. What type of fittings would i need. I know a T fitting for the sensor to plug into but what about to connect to the Fuel line. Im new to the whole fuel scene and i know U know alot about ti shifted so i couuld use your help

It should be before the FMU, there is no measurable pressure behind it since its free flowing back to the gas tank from there.

Alright bobby, did you just release the fuel pressure, drill into the fuel rail, tap it with a tap and then screw in the fitting then insert the sensor. IF you did do that, what type of fitting did you use(what size?), are you using the autometer ultra lite fuel perssure gauge that is electronic?

Thanks so far guys

i used a 3/8" brass t with some end couplings, cut the fuel rail and put it in, easy as pie.

I took the rail off the car and drilled a little pilot hole....then I bought a tapper that was the same size as the fitting on the sender. After that I washed the rail of all the shavings before putting it back on the car. After that I teflon taped the sender and screwed it in....and then ur done
