Im geussing that they won't work but I figured I'd ask.

About $10.50 per lifter.
Or maybe someone on here can help ya out.
Lifters I think are more dependent on the cam tower.
So a 2.3L would have the 33mm lifters and the 2.3L would have the 35mm lifters.

That's a typo...
I'm still using 2.4 lifters (intake and exhaust), but for $10.50, I would go with those. Unless you intend to expand the 2.4L bores out to 35mm, you have to use stock lifters on 2.4L cam towers.
*note*--- The lifters do fit over the HO springs, but it is a close fit. I have reved the motor past 6200 on the stock 33mm ld9 lifters, and I haven't had any problem with them. Although, I personally would feel safer with 2.3 towers/ lifters, but I haven't been able to find any 2.3L DOHC motors in any nearby junkyards. Oh well.
Yeah my bad,
2.4L use 33mm lifters.

Take a look at kragen.....they have a lunati kit so the Q4 2.3
Part No.
65001LUN Lunati Valvetrain Kit
Valvetrain Kit: Includes Lifters P/N 71817; Springs P/N 73815; Retainers P/N 75702lun; Locks P/N 77004
Spring specs:
Chrome Silicon Valve Spring ; Valve Spring: Single Spring Set; 1.82 In. Installed Height; 120 Lbs. Installed Pressure
All of it for $197.00
The installed pressure of those springs sound a little high but I'm interested to see how they work.
Sure that's the correct kit?
I'm showing it for the V8s.

The install height must not be good. Stock is 1.437". That's a difference of .390" It's more than quarter of an inch.
Stock install pressure is 75-80lbs

Well, it should make for a good engine bay pyrotechnics show.
You can't even bolt the cover with a spring like that. There's not even 0.25" between the top of the retainer and the valve end. It would make the lifter solid for sure.

The vehicle used for the search:
1993 CHEVROLET BERETTA GTZ L4 2.3 Liter FI
I cant believe anything an autoparts site says until I see it in person.....kragens I've been too have been wrong many times before, and this is not a problem at just Kragen.
Could be total BS.
A 2.3 is a 2.3 so it's there mistake.

You never know...it could just be a height mistake? Time to check out lunati's site
It's a mistake, Lunati doesn't show anything for the Quad4 on Summit's or Lunati's sites.
2000 Z24 5spd header & catback for now.
Are all 2.3 HO lifters anti pump up or do you have to buy special ones, can the stock ones go to the redline of the W41 cams?

The Ho and W41 lifters are the same. The stock lifters/spring combo are good for 8000rpm. I'm running Ho springs and lifters on a set of Hot grind 2.
