I was thinking of buying an rk sport high flow catalytic converter from ttr and having and exhaust shop make me some downpiping so that the car has an even flow the whole way through.I have a header and a cat back exhaust system so how much more can i expect from the car if i'd up the piping?

i have a dc sport 4-1 header you can see pics in the dc sport 2.4 forum. I just wanted to know if upping the pipes would increase horsepower and how much approx.

Not sure of any numbers, but your not getting the most from your header using the stock downpipe and cat. Just get a magnaflow cat which can be found on ebay for like $50-60, then have a shop make you either a 2.25" or 2.5" downpipe. Id get a 2.5" cat and downpipe made if you plan to get the eco sc

Yeah i do plan on getting the eco sc down the road. I'll have to look into getting the catalytic converter. I seen that the rk sport will pass emissions will the magnaflow cat also pass emissions?

I'd purchase this item from ttr, but i was wondering why the rk sport cat on there is so much more expensive ? Does that catalytic converter really make that much of a difference that it is so much more than the magnaflow cats? Also, will the magnaflow cat pass emissions in pennsylvania. Its obd2 compliant, i take that at it will?

IDK about Penn. emmissions testing, but here in Texas, any 1996 or later car just gets hooked up to the machine electronically- as long as the OBD-II computer in the car tells the state inspection computer that it's OK, you pass your emissions inspection; there's no sniffer in the tailpipe except 1995 and older.
