I notice alot of you guys have the HO intakes from the quad 4 on the 2.4's. Thats something iv'e been planning on doing as well but I have one question. Can the stock 2.4 throttle body mount to the 2.3 or do it need to buy the 2.3 throttle body and cables with the intake? Help is much appreciated.

I have a H.O. manifold, but have not put it under the hood yet so i don't have any first hand knowledge to share. Use the search button to find out about this swap. You will probably either get ignored or flamed for asking questions that have been answered MANY times over. Also, there was recently a thread about whether or not this modification results in a power gain. Its the first one I have seen with actual dyno testing. Its REALLY worth searching for and reading about yourself.

I see in your profile you have performance cams... what are you running for camshafts?

yes, you can mount the 2.4 l tb on a the 2.3 ho. now i am told from a freind of mine that had it on his, there is a space issue for the autos, and that you need to use the 2.3l throttle cable/bracket atleast. as far as the install. it was easy as pie after i slotted the bottom holes.
