LO manifold port matched and 56mm TB.

what charactersistics will it give me on my 2.4 and should i even bother with the TB?

Well from my understanding the only thing you would be benifiting from is the 56mm tb. The lo intake is very restrictive and the results on the ho one making gains is on the fence..phil

the HO manifold was dyno'd to show a power lose

Even if the LO manifold is port matched for a 2.4?

The LO manifolds are not resrictive...... but neither are the stock ones....

I can't remember what the inlet diameter of a LO mani is at the momemt (I have one sitting next to me but don't have a metric tape measure) but I don't think its any bigger than a stock 2.4 TB

If anyone has the measurments of both the LO and HO manifolds and the stock 2.4 and 2.3 mani's please post them up....

You basically want to match the sizes as close as you can..... you wouldn't think that a TB thats a bit larger then the intake mani would do much due to the bottleneck.... if you already have them.... by all means slap them on and let us know how it goes (dyno charts would be nice but the likelyhood of you having access to one is prob slim) You prob wont actually feel a difference.... but you might gain a few HP..... there's no way to know for sure unless someone does a dyno test...

We really need to find someone with money and time to test out all these combinations so we can finally find out for sure,

some say it adds others says nothing and some say it will bring your torrquwe curve lower by add a 56mm tb and port match LO manifold.

guess it is not worth the money or time?

yeah a bunch of people making lame ass excuse after lame ass excuse on why the HO manifold was busted after so many people had a hard-on for it

From what I recall... the LO manifold was about the same as stock... so other than looks, there really wasn't a point.

The HO manifold did give gains... but also moved the power band slightly, so it depends what kinda gains you're looking for. I noticed a loss in low end power but a gain in the top end, it sure breathed better in the top end... raised my MPH in the quarter mile a few miles... I never did dyno it though, so I have no numbers to back up this... just my experience.

Taken from your own profile,LOL
Future:
got some gauges
HO manifold swap to do
and a crank pulley to do
