The right O2 Sensor Extension ?
Thursday, March 13, 2008 10:50 AM
I was going trew the old topics about this and alot off the links dont work any more. Also from many atemp to rearange my wireing, i decided to go ahead and order one from jegs or summit. The jegs one is cheaper but I want to make sure im ordering the right part. Ill put a link up and let me know if I found the right one.
If so ill be ordering it now. I know they make a extender for the air temp sensor but I cant even find it in Jegs or Summit racing. If u guys have a link for the air temp one let me know. And if so which sould I extend, the air temp or the o2? And I dont want to cut or splice any wires. Thank u in advance j-body

Lmao im so sorry lol I knew i forgot stuff lol. Im a 2002 cavy with the ecotec .
Because I needed to make the o2 sensor reach unfortnetly I stuck a resiter in the air temp sensor. I would really like to be able to plug my air temp sensor back in. And from what i belive it was square with 4 pins i belive. not sure.

listening also, as i used the one that came with my pacesetter header. no cel yet, however, seems to run a little rich. 96 ln2/one wire.

for the iat , go to the dealer and get the replacement harness plug , its 20-30 for it and you get 2 heat shrink butt connectors

on the eco if its a pacesetter header , you just need to take the engine side plug off the bracket and it will reach , other brands youll need to measure to come up with the right length

same goes for the 1 wire 2.2 ohv

then compare them on caspers site , caspers can also make custom length extensions
