I was wondering if this 12" long 2.25" resonator would help in quieting my exhaust system up any? I got this from icemike when I picked up my clear corners, and Rk Sport cold air extension. My car has the Vibrant Catback, and a magnaflow high flow cat. I was just wondering if this is worth my time to have installed or not.

It will but im not sure how much over the stock one. A lot of people on here are useing way bigger ones. I have a 18" yet to be installed.

Well it's not going on stock exhaust, I have a Vibrant 2.25" catback system. Unless your saying it's comparible to the size and output of the stock resonator just larger diameter.

If you have no resonator, yes it will mellow it out some. Not a whole lot, but some, it is only 12" long.
I'm using a 2.25" X 35" glasspack, high flow Cat, PS Header and a Dynomax SuperTurbo. It's very mellow, deep and not very loud, but you can definitely tell it's not stock.

I mean I dont want it to where it sound like stock. I got this exhaust for it's sound but it's just kinda loud at idle. Not horrible but I just would like to tone it down some. If you watch the vids you can tell it's not too bad.

yes it will help but as previously mentioned it will only help a small amount due to its short length. If you feel that the vibrant system is too loud then I would say that you should installl it and see if you like how it sounds. If anything, it will drop it a dB or 2 and mellow it out with a slightly deeper tone.

I dont think a 12" is really worth your time. Its going to cost so much to get it put on, and if its not long quiet enough, you'll end up swapping it anyways. maybe you can get another 12" in there somewhere with it. Atleast an 18 inch resonator if possible. I plan on getting mine to the shop when all is said and done to get atleast a 28" resonator in there. I dont want it to be loud when im crusing, or going to work in the mornings, only when I get on it. How hard was it to get the 35 inch in there?

I've got the OHV, the exhaust comes down the front of the motor. I moved my CAT forward about 8" and welded the 35"er to the CAT. The glass pack goes all the way to the turn at the rear, just before the axle beam. It's a tight fit, but it works.

So just a lil deeper and no rasp is all that this will do. It wont make any noticable difference in db of the exhaust.

It will help. I had an 18 on my 2200 and it sound nice. even when i was boosted. It will remove the rasp and sound cleaner.

A turbo actually makes a great muffler believe it or not. It blends all the exhaust pulses so there is little to no rasp.
