I just got my header put on my car an it sounds like I have a little bit of an exhaust leak is this normal? Should I weld the header where it connects to the cat or leave it clapped. Also when I drive over bumps I hear something rattling from underneath the car any ideas?
Tighten it up it you should have the down pipe welded to the cat. i've had mine for 3+ months with no issues.

you might just be hearing the flow of the exhaust through the header, but you might also have a leak
