so yea whats everyone's thoughts on some ss braided fuel lines? im thinking of replacing all my fuel lines with the ss lines from the front to the tank because today i had a leak and fixed it but my stock lines are so rusted that its only a matter of time till the other ones start to break and leak. So do any of you guys think it be legal and would work (pressure wise)? (And yes i know how much it would cost to do this.)
Whats not legal about it?
I just picked up my Russell Pro-flex line today, 20 feet of 6AN, $162 CAD
Stuff aint cheap if you plan on doing it right, so expect it to be expensive and do it!
idk everything in pa is illegal but that kit you bought are you hooking it up to a fuel cell or the stock tank?
i just went to jegs and i deffinitly like the push lok but i could find it listed in long lengths. and how much pressure do the fuel lines see max? last time i check was around 50 - 60 psi?
usually hard-line on the chassis of the car is the best, with flexible lines going to the tank and to the rails (to the rails for engine movement reasons, and to the tank so you can get the dang thing out for service)
but a stainless line the length of the car shouldn't be that bad I guess.. just don't snag it on anything and make sure you secure it GOOD

technically anything that is not stock is illegal, and can be sited for....and fail inspection for. Most stations will let quite a bit slide though, as well as cops.
From my fuel rail to the fuel filter will be SS lines, from the tank to the fuel filter will be high pressure rubber line, all done with Earls/Russell fittings so it will be a quick fix if there is a problem.
