Just wanted to make sure that the 97 and 99 2.4L exhaust manifolds are the same....??

Well they bolt up the same, but depending how late of model year the 99 is it won't have provisions for the EGR. That'll throw a code if you put it on a 97, or if you put a 97 one with EGR provision on a 99 you need to use the 99 exhaust manifold gasket to block off the egr.
Well what I really need to know is are the downpipes are the same? Will this 99 downpipe attache to my 97 manifold..?
