You can buy a msd saturn cam sync. its about $40 it uses your spark as a signal instead of the cam sensor but sends the same signal to your ecu. brad wants to retain his stock sensor for personal reasons. I am going the cam sunc route.

i only care about retaining the cam sensor for my white car, the car im concentrating on at the moment, my black z, i could care less.

im working on having a 95 intake cam reground to close to ho spec for the white car.

but yes, the topic of the sensor is going to come up as well...

if you find a place that can do it for 40 or less plus shipping id rather do the pad on the cam for my vert. less electronic stuff to go bad on the daily driver. im guessing itll cost a good bit more though.

Yeah I have to agree with you there. Cant be cheap. To be honest i dont even care about the sensor on my z. its the car thats fun to drive, ill do the sync or clear the code. But for my vert(my dd) I dont plan on doing the 2.2 coil conversion so the cam sync would be complicated now that i think about it. i want some highly custom cams for this setup designed for midrange power and a flat torque curve. im thinking high duration moderate lift(if i read correctly thats what i want for midrange). So as sad as it sounds reground HO cams may be my best choice. But I want the cps on it. I dont know if the 95 intake has enough meat for this setup.

brad i should be getting my head some time this week. when i tear it down, im taking the measurements Geoff @ Colt Cams needs to determine if lash caps are necessary. im sure once he gets that info, it will help him with determining yours as well.

im itching to get these damn triflow cams.... cant wait to see how flat that curve is going to be.
