is the z24 3100 the same one as the 3100 in the 96 grand am gt?(i know there were a few diff. 3100's)
are you talking about the 3.1 in 90-94 Z24s?
they are 3.1s (genII), not 3100s (genIII), they aren't the same
swaps are possible with modifications, see v6z24 for more details
ah, ok, yea, that's what i was asking. thanks. you don't happen to knoe the difference, do you? i wanted to see if i could use cavalier 3100 parts(bottom end) in the grand am.
no cavalier 3100 bottom end none its a 3.1 not 3100 and you cant use anything on it unless you make a hybrid with the 3.1 with 3100 top end but then the block wont bolt in because it is diffrent
