No offense to you or anything, but if you have'nt done any research, You're probally far from ready to complete an engine swap. In addition, the 2.2 Ecotec is a great engine to mod. Hell, I'd take that over my 2.2 OHV...

for the price youre gonna pay to do a motor swap(depending upon what it is) fab up mounts and wire up the damn thing you can buy a turbo kit for your eco and most likely be faster.

Wouldn't do any good. Noone on here has ever done a motor swap.
im guessing he blew his eco otherwise why the hell would anyone be dumb enough to swap it out? I love my eco. awesome engine.
yeah if you have a running eco get a supercharger or saab turbo for it i don't think ayone has swapped OUT and eco yet for a V6 most either have the 2200 or 2.4

The only person i can think of that has swapped out the 2.2L Eco is PJ, but he is swapping in another Eco. So i dunno if that counts....

That doesn't count because his car did not come from the factory with an ECO.
Meh, I didn't blow it. I was just curious about what engines would fit. I love the eco, it takes a lot of abuse. My friend was just joking around and said I should put a K20 in it or a B18, so I was just curious if something like that would even work. I have no plans on swapping, was just wondering.
