pics of rksport header!

ok so ive been looking around for a nice header to compliment my engine. i fell in love with the rk sport header but its ceramic. yes ceramic is great . but as this will be a motor more fit for show i wanted a nice stainless header. now the rk header on the website looks nice and shined up but ive been hearing it loses its luster after a while. anybody have pics of the 4-2-1 header installed so i can see how it looks after a good amount of driving??? thanks for any help and if anybody knows another good stainless header out there for the cav.

I NEED a 97-99 LD9 engine harness for an auto.PM if u hav info.!!

Stainless will darken and look brownish/purplish... it's tucked in the back by the firewall, do you think it's going to make or break your engine bay..I don't understand these posts at all...

There is no easy ways to get HP, no magic box or gizmo... And if you get more hp, there's no way to make your car still behave and sound like a stock one. More hp usually makes your car louder, more vibrations and harder to drive...but still people hope or think maby there's some magic way to have it all, comfort, stock sound and drive.

This is the original RKsport ceramic 4-1 header, with a few good years of use in it. I don't remember it being any brighter when it was new, but that was a while ago. Will be swapping it out for the pacesetter 4-2-1 armour coated one soon due to CARB issues if anyone has interest.

hey BEN99220, i see your intake is attached to the throttle body, however mine is not. i was wondering about 2 things, does the hood close with it attached like that, and how did you get the stick intake box out? i have a 2001 2.2 cavalier. any advice would help and is greatly appreciated..

I see a big leak on that header Brad. I will get some pics of mine up here in a few, when it stops raining.

check the 4-2-1 threads. you will have exhaust leaks and it will sound like crap unless you weld the two pieces together.

Those threads are all Tsudo 4-2-1 headers not Rk Sport...BUT still a 4-2-1 is more difficult to install

i had the RKSport 4-2-1 and it leaked always. they are the same design where they connect. it's easy to install since it's 2 pieces.

As far as I can tell all the complaints about 4-2-1's leaking were on the RKsport pieces, I don't think that Pacestter or DCsport have that issue. At least not that I could find.

To Kevin Blum: Yes my hood closes, and I suggest using the search button, instead of trying to thread jack. The only semi complicated part is re mounting the clutch reservoir.
