Vacume manifold/ block
Friday, June 05, 2009 10:44 PM
Im gona get a vacume manifold soon since Ive got alot of things needing vacume and dont want vacume T's everywhere, where do most get the source for the manifold/ block from? I would assume a larger source like the brake booster would be better, is that a straight vacume source or would it need post tb?

Im running a 2.3 ho mani with a threaded nipple coming from the back that Im not using, does anyone know what thread size that is? I could get a fitting for that with a larger nipple for the main vacume source, would be best imo. Any input is appreciated!

The brake booster gets its vacuum from vacuum in the manifold, so id say use a lager nipple on the back of the manifold. Idk the sizeof it though.

We are running a -10an line from our intake mani to our vacuum block. That is post throttle body. Works like a charm. I would get the largest fitting on there you can. You could probably use the spot on the back.

You wouldnt happen to know the thread size on the nipple on the back of the plenum would you??
