H.O. cams....not normal question

I have the H.O. cams, towers, and lifters and was going to install the cams on the car, but...........everyone trying to say my bottom end will give out, she runs nice and strong, prolly needs seafoam this year(been few years and many km lol), and about 272,000km on the motor since rebuild, but I was wondering what you guys have been installing the cams at, "not-so-secret" included, just to see if any problems after installing the cams, thanks ahead for replying, just want to get these babies in right away the car took them out of was "90 Calais with only 92,000km on them, and I'd love to get a little more juice out of this beast before I rebuild next year

You can throw them in. I have some in my 03 with 80k on the motor. The peak power of the cams is 6200. Well with in range of the stock bottom end. The only thing you would need is a tune and maybe some bigger injectors. With the stock computer and injectors the car will be lean above 4000 rpms.

what would happen not using the springs and retainers? someone told me I should be fine without retainers but using the H.O springs, I'm not sure though, plus I have to make sure 100 percent going to work seeing as how I want to install them, them use old p/s setup, and then, soon rebuild the bottom end, too many km on the bottom end even though built 200,000km ago lol
